Share Local Media, or SLM, is a rapidly growing startup reimagining the world of offline marketing for tech and e-commerce companies. We started as e-commerce marketers ourselves, and launched SLM with a goal of turning direct mail into a high performing, scalable channel for a digitally native client set. To do so, we’ve taken an inputs based-approach to the space, and re-engineered the channel from the ground up to make it easier to test, faster to execute, more measurable, and ultimately, more effective for e-commerce and tech clients of all types.
So what does SLM actually do? We’re a full-service direct mail agency, media program operator, and technology platform, serving some of your favorite e-commerce and tech brands (think Casper, Lyft, Grubhub, etc.). We live and breathe direct response marketing, and strive to delight clients with high performing campaigns built around fast, data-driven client service, and premium, unique branding.

You will be a valuable member of our data team, playing a key role on day to day client projects that relate to data management and client campaign results reporting. A successful Junior Data Analyst will be able to analyze extensive datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights within customer and business data. Within 30 days, you will be self-sufficient in base R work (we don’t require knowledge of R, but our data tech stack is R based), and by day 60-90 should be fully running day-to-day analyses for clients start to finish. The role as a whole will present you with ample opportunities to actively contribute to the company’s client-facing responsibilities.
Collaboration is a key aspect of this role - you will be working closely with both data team members and account management colleagues from other departments. In support of our account management teams, you will be helping with time-sensitive, day-to-day deliverables such as creating mailing lists and delivering performance analyses to clients. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the effective management and utilization of data for optimal business outcomes.
